Introduction To This Blog

Hi fellow Intercessors and Prayer Warriors,

I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you why I started this blog. My name is Shari Warren and I live in Southern Oregon.

Two years ago I started an email list called Prophetic Intercessors Network of Southern Oregon  because at the Church I attend we were hearing Prophetic Words being spoken over our area and Oregon from as far away as New Zealand.  I felt that these Prophetic Words needed to be prayed through by our regions intercessors.

We had 25 intercessors and we saw some movement toward fulfillment of those Prophetic Words but not near what was spoken.  You can read the Prophetic Words in the link provided.  Then the list server I was using decided to charge money on a monthly basis.  So it was time to change the way we were doing things.

I had been praying for quite some time and felt the Lord was moving me toward using a blog.  I knew that blogging was probably the best way to communicate with other intercessors in our region.  Since I'm new to blogging (as you probably are too) please be patient with me.

As I've prayed about this ministry I see its potential to draw our intercessors together in united prayer; to pray-in the Lord's revival and His habitation into our region; to break strongholds of the enemy and curses over our land.  To do this we as a praying/interceding people need to be informed of the issues, then the Lord will give us revelation, wisdom and strategies so that we can pray together in faith, authority and power.

Dan 10:12 Then he (the angel) said to me, "Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words (intercession) were heard, and I have come as a consequences of [and in response to] your words."AMP

1 Tim 2: I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. NIV

Goals of this blog:

1. The major focus will be Southern Oregon, but at times will include the state of Oregon and the United States as those issues affect us in our area.
2. Have a place where intercessors can access information about ongoing Intercessory Groups that pray for our region and are open to all intercessors to attend their meetings.
3. To unify the intercessors and prayer warriors that want to intercede for our region.
4. To provide a list of coming Events where all intercessors are invited to attend and participate.
5. To notify intercessors of current and future issues in our region that needs our intercession.
6. To encourage individual intercessors and to provide a community for those intercessors that feel isolated.
7. Provide articles related to intercession, testimonies of answered intercession, discussion/comments section, book reviews on intercession/prayer and website links.

What this blog is not:

1. A place to get individual prayer or request prayer for other individuals.  There are lots of places that provide this so if that is what you need please feel free to email me and I'll give you links.
2. A place to vent about your particular issue if it is off topic.  I do encourage good honest opinions even if they don't agree with mine.  No flaming or bad verbal behavior.
3. A place to uncover Christian leaders or pastors, to reveal personal issues or sin; this is not a gossip blog in the guise of prayer and intercession.

Father we so love You, Jesus and Holy Spirit.  We want to see Your Kingdom come to our region just as it is in heaven.  We long for Revival to touch our area, but even more than that we want You to inhabit us, our land and our people of the Southern Oregon Region.  I ask that You bless this vehicle (the blog) of communication and the unifying of our intercessors and prayer warriors with Your presence in all that is written and read.  We, the intercessors and prayer warriors of Southern Oregon, want to be part of Your great end-time Prayer Movement.  Amen
